South View, Eden Valley
Nestled in the heart of the Eden Valley, our brief at South View was for a delicate reimagination of a grade II listed cottage to address the challenges of 21st C. living, the Climate Emergency and habitat creation.  Originally a pair of 18th C. cottages, the original fabric has been retained, celebrated and complemented by new materials including lime pointing / render, a sedum roof, sandstone flags, resin floors and wood fibre insulation.   Integrated new technology includes solar panels, an ASHP and a MVHR within an improved thermal envelope.
